There are only 6 known examples of 1885 Edge Lettered Aluminum Morgan Dollars, and this PCGS PR68 Cameo Judd-1749 CAC is the finest among them. As per the Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) the coin is missing from an USPS Express package along with atleast other 9 rare coins. When the package delivered, the opening was with covered with USPS tape and the coins were missing from the inner box and its re-taped. As per the authorities investigation is in progress and still don’t have any leads toward the recovery of this rare and unique pattern coin.
